This is an official statement from the veterinary medical team at
424 East 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128 (between 1st and York Avenues).
Two weeks ago, our hospital received an emergency case — a small dog suffering from severe third-degree burns across most of her body.
The animal was brought in critical condition and required immediate intensive care. Unfortunately, her owner did not return to continue her treatment. The hospital has since taken full responsibility for her ongoing medical care.
We named her Lucky, a symbol of resilience and the will to live. Despite the unimaginable pain and trauma, Lucky continues to fight for her life every single day. Her condition remains serious, requiring continuous wound management, fluid therapy, antibiotics, pain control, and potential skin graft surgeries.

💔 Medical Cost Estimate: 150,000 USD
The total estimated cost of Lucky’s treatment and rehabilitation includes:
- Emergency burn stabilization and hospitalization
- Surgical wound repair and grafting
- Specialized medication and pain management
- Long-term nursing care and recovery support
Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a difference.
Even 1 USD can become part of a greater whole — a piece of hope against the suffering this innocent animal has endured.
