Mochi (male) and Toone (female) are 5-month-old orange tabby kittens from California, looking for a loving forever home — together.
Their story is heartbreaking but sadly common: their mother was killed in a road accident when they were just tiny kittens, leaving Mochi and Toone orphaned at the most critical age. Their original caregiver — a kind woman in California — took them in immediately, hand-fed them through the night, got them medical care, and raised them with patience and love.
But months later, circumstances have changed. As much as she loves them, their caregiver can no longer afford to keep both kittens long-term. Rather than separate them or surrender them to a shelter, she reached out to Buy Me Cake Global asking our community to help find them a committed adopter who’ll honor what she’s already given them: a chance.
