Help Save Bruno — Senior Dog Hit by a Motorcycle in Cebu

Three days ago, Bruno was found lying on the roadside along Osmena Boulevard, Cebu City, Philippines — his right rear leg badly injured after being struck by a motorcycle. He is approximately 9 years old and had clearly been surviving on the streets for months — his body thin and scarred, his eyes too exhausted to show fear.

A local resident spotted him at dawn and contacted our team immediately.

The vet examined Bruno and stabilized him with IV fluids and pain relief. X-rays confirmed a clean fracture in his rear leg — the kind that can be fully repaired with surgery. But time is critical. If we don’t operate within 7 days, the bone will set incorrectly and Bruno will never walk normally again.

Bruno has been lying quietly on his mat since he arrived. No growling. No resistance. Just patient, tired eyes looking up at us — as if he knows we’re trying to help.
